Nail Art… in a few swipes

Nail Art… in a few swipes

As a busy person I don’t always have the time to make a pretty nail design but after seeing so much beautiful imagery on Instagram I like to create looks that are quick to keep up with the trends.

What you’ll need:

Barry M Basecoat, Topcoat & Nail Hardener – All in one (clear)

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint – Pomegranate

Barry M Nail Paint – Sour Apple

Nail Art 2

I love using Barry M nail products because I think it’s fairly priced and of high quality. The all in one nail paint is convenient because it just does the job and stops me having to fiddle with multiple polishes. The Barry M Gelly Hi Shine collection is amazing it reminds me of a Shellac finish. Be careful when applying it because if it is applied to thick it can turn when you think it is dry you will get a mini mould affect.

The instructions are simple:

  1. Prepare your nails with the Barry M Basecoat, Topcoat & Nail Hardener – All in one (clear). Basecoats are important because it ensures that the polish you apply is done smoothly. It also stops your own nail being stained and dry.
  2. Apply the Gelly Hi Shine paint. Remember not to do this too thick. I find that one coat is sufficient. If applying two coats please ensure that the first coat is completely dry.

  1. Apply the sour apple nail paint. Make sure that the pieces are spread across evenly on your nail.
  2. Finally, apply the all in one Barry M nail paint to protect the design.

It’s not nail art as you aren’t creating patterns and pictures but the contrast between the two nail polishes creating an eye-catching design. I had to show an old version of what I did on Instagram as my camera wasn’t up for taking good pictures!

If you try it… tag me on Instagram so I can see it too (@FashionClutter).

Bye for now X

Please note that this wasn’t a sponsored post… I am generally addicted to Barry M Nail Paint!!!
